The answer
What to know.

DebrisLock™ is a self-cleaning filter system. It reverses the motor’s suction direction to create a pumping action inside the filter. That pressure releases debris from the filter panels.
The loosened debris settles into a second chamber at the bottom of the filter. This chamber is designed to trap the debris and prevent it from returning.
During this backwash cycle, the robot stays in place for about five minutes, and its main status LED blinks.
Automatic filter cleaning helps improve overall pool performance and reduces how often you need to remove the robot to clean its filter. In UltraRun™ mode, the filter may go up to 2 weeks without needing cleaning.
