The answer
What to know.

The EON™ 100/120d has several cleaning modes and scanning patterns for residential pools up to 49 feet. It shuts down five minutes after its cleaning cycle ends.
Start with Smart Mode
For your first cleaning, select Smart Mode. This recommended calibration scan takes 20-30 minutes and evaluates your pool’s size, shape, depth and slope. The robot then starts the recommended cleaning cycle automatically.
After you take the robot out of the water and reconnect it to the app, you can see the recommended runtime and scanning pattern. A star icon marks those Smart Mode recommendations in the cleaning settings.
Cleaning modes and cycle times
| Cleaning mode | Cycle time options | Areas cleaned |
|---|---|---|
| Full Coverage | 2 hours (default), 1.5 hours or 2.5 hours | Floor, walls, waterline, steps and sun-ledge |
| Floor Only | 2 hours (default), 1.5 hours or 2.5 hours | Floor |
| UltraRun™ | EON™ 100: up to 2.5 hours (combined); EON™ 120d: up to 4.5 hours (combined) | Floor, walls, waterline, steps and sun-ledge |
| Waterline-Only | 1 hour | Waterline |
| Ultra Clean | Up to 2.5 hours | Floor, walls, waterline, steps and sun-ledge |
Ultra Clean note: Select this setting through the app. A full battery charge is recommended before using UltraClean mode.
Adjust cycle time and scanning pattern
In the MaytronicsOne app, you can adjust the cycle time for Full Coverage, UltraRun™ and Floor Only to help the robot cover your pool.
Maze is the default scanning pattern. Select the line-by-line pattern for more intensive floor cleaning.
