1) Eligibility & Condition

We accept returns on eligible products within 30 days of the purchase date.

To qualify for a full refund, items must be returned in like-new condition, inside the original retail box, with all accessories, manuals, and packaging.

For robotic cleaners:

  • Rinse, dry, and repack all parts neatly.
  • Returns showing wear, missing parts, cable damage/knots, water intrusion beyond basic testing, scratches, or damaged/missing packaging may receive a condition-based adjustment to the refund to cover refurbishment or replacements.
  • We’ll document any adjustment with photos.

2) What’s Not Returnable

  • Opened/used consumables (e.g., replacement filters, brushes, accessory kits sold separately)
  • Installed parts or items that cannot be restored to like-new condition
  • Items damaged by misuse or improper packaging during return transit

3) DOA or Shipping Damage (Fast Help)

Please inspect your shipment upon arrival. If your item is dead on arrival (DOA) or visibly damaged in transit, contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of:

  1. The product
  2. Inner/outer packaging
  3. The shipping label

We’ll arrange a no-cost exchange or repair per manufacturer procedures.

4) How to Start a Return (RMA Required)

  • Email support@poolbots.com with your Order # and reason for return to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) within 30 days of purchase.
  • We’ll reply with packing tips and the return address. Your RMA is valid for 14 days.
  • Use a trackable, insured carrier of your choice (many customers use discounted label services such as PirateShip.com).
  • Clearly write the RMA on the outer box. Returns without an RMA may be refused.

Risk of loss: You’re responsible for the item until it’s scanned as delivered to our warehouse. Please insure your shipment.

5) How to Pack a Robotic Cleaner (to avoid damage/adjustments)

  • Power off, drain, and dry the unit.
  • Coil the cable loosely in large loops.
  • Protect the power supply and accessories with internal packing.
  • Use the original inserts and retail box inside a sturdy outer carton if possible.
  • Fill empty spaces to prevent movement in transit.

6) Refund Timing & What’s Refunded

  • Once we receive your return, inspection is completed within 3–5 business days.
  • Approved refunds (less any condition-based adjustment) are issued to your original payment method.
  • Your bank/card issuer may take 2–10 business days to post the credit.

7) Exchanges & Store Credit (Fastest Resolution)

8) Warranty Support After 30 Days

After the return window, we’re happy to assist with manufacturer warranty support (1–3 years typically), including troubleshooting, repair, or exchange, according to each brand’s policy.

9) Chargebacks & Returns (Plain-English Reminder)

Refunds are issued after we receive the returned merchandise per this policy.
If a card dispute (chargeback) is initiated while you still have the product, we’ll continue to work with you to complete the return. We’ll also provide your card issuer with documentation (proof of delivery, your acceptance of our policies, and our communications) to resolve the matter efficiently.
