Why does my Dolphin's "full filter" light turn on when the filter isn't full?
Short answer: A filter that looks clean can still be clogged by dried particles, so check the impeller, clean the filters thoroughly, and reset the power supply.
Check the impeller for obstructions, thoroughly clean the filters, then reset the power supply using the instructions below.

The fix
Step by step.
On an IoT power supply, either or both of these signals indicate a full filter:
- The LED flashes blue and yellow while the robot runs.
- The light stays yellow after the cleaning cycle ends.
The filter can look clean but still be clogged. Small particles can dry on the filter material and block it.
-
Step 1Check the impeller
Check the impeller for anything blocking it and clear any obstructions.
-
Step 2Clean the filters thoroughly
Give the filters a thorough cleaning, even if they do not look dirty.
Clean the filter bag or cartridges after every cleaning cycle. A deeper cleaning may also be needed:
- Bag filters can go in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Let them air-dry afterward.
- Filter cartridges can go in the dishwasher at 30 degrees.
-
Step 3: Reset the power supply\n Once the impeller and filter maintenance is complete, follow the reset method for your power supply:
- With a Reset button: Press and hold Reset until the light turns off. This takes approximately 5–20 seconds.
- Without a Reset button: Disconnect the power supply from the electrical outlet. Wait a few moments, then reconnect it to reset it.
