What’s new about the S-Line facelift?
Short answer: The S-Line facelift updates the exterior and adds step and sun ledge cleaning, with swivel cables and app control on the S2000 and S3000.
Models covered: Dolphin S2000 and Dolphin Active 3000.
The S-Line facelift includes these updates:
- Updated exterior: The outer casing has a fresh look, including redesigned side panels.
- Cable handling and navigation: On the S2000 and S3000, a swivel cable helps limit cable tangling, while a rear combined brush improves navigation.
- Step cleaning: A new jet-powered stair-cleaning component helps clean pool steps effectively.
- Sun ledge cleaning: The new models can clean sun ledges where the water is at least 12"/30 cm deep.
- App control: Use the MyDolphin™ Plus app for smart control of the S2000 and S3000.
How do the S1000/S2000/S3000 clean stairs and sun ledges?
Short answer: Stair cleaning runs automatically in Full Coverage cleaning mode, and sun ledges require a minimum water depth of 12"-15".
Applies to: Dolphin S2000, Dolphin Active 3000.
The S1000/S2000/S3000 detect steps and climb stairs. On the way down, a water jet turns on automatically to flush away dirt and debris.
This feature works automatically in Full Coverage cleaning mode. To clean sun ledges, it requires a minimum water depth of 12"-15".
How can I schedule cleanings with the S2000 and S3000?
Short answer: Schedule cleanings in the MyDolphin™ Plus app using the S2000 Weekly Timer or the S3000 Smart Weekly Timer.
Set up your cleaning schedule in the MyDolphin™ Plus app. The timer options depend on your model:
- S2000: Use the in-app Weekly Timer to schedule Full Coverage cleaning.
- S3000: Use the Smart Weekly Timer to schedule cleanings, set the cycle duration and choose from six cleaning modes.
Depending on the selected mode, cleaning cycles last 2 to 3 hours. Fast Mode runs for 1 hour only.
Is the new S-Line only cosmetic, or does it change how the robot cleans?
Short answer: The S-Line update adds a new look, jet-powered stair cleaning, sun ledge cleaning and enhanced modes without changing core cleaning performance.
The S-Line update for Dolphin S2000 and Dolphin Active 3000 is more than cosmetic. It combines a redesigned side panel and a more modern appearance with added cleaning capabilities.
The robot still uses the CleverClean™ algorithm for reliable, efficient pool coverage. Its core cleaning performance stays the same.
The update also adds:
- Jet-powered stair cleaning
- Sun ledge cleaning
- Enhanced cleaning modes
These additions expand what the robot can clean, rather than replacing its core cleaning technology.
What does the S2000 feature?
Short answer: The S2000 offers four cleaning modes, jet-powered stair cleaning, sun ledge cleaning, fine and ultra-fine filtration, and app scheduling.
Brushes, filtration, and cable
The S2000 pairs a front Active brush with a combined rear brush to scrub pool surfaces thoroughly.
Its combined double-seal filter basket includes fine and ultra-fine cartridges. Two additional ultra-fine cartridges provide enhanced filtration. The blue cable has a swivel that helps reduce tangling.
Stair and sun ledge cleaning
The S2000 uses jet-powered cleaning for stairs. It also cleans sun ledges where the water is at least 30 cm deep.
App scheduling
The S2000 works with the MyDolphin Plus app. You can schedule weekly cleaning through the app, but only in Full Coverage Mode.
