What is the Cycle Selector on my cordless Dolphin Liberty 300 and 400, and how do I set it?

Short answer: After the battery LED lights up, hold the power button for 3-4 seconds until it flashes purple 3 times to switch from Regular to Floor Only.

The answer

What to know.

Cycle Selector

Liberty 300

The Cycle Selector lets you change from Regular mode, which cleans the floor, walls, and waterline, to Floor Only mode.

Liberty 400

The Advanced Cycle Selector gives you three cleaning modes:

  • Floor Only: Cleans only the floor.
  • Regular: Cleans the floor, walls, and waterline.
  • Ultra-Clean: Cleans the floor, walls, and waterline more thoroughly.

Ultra-Clean must be selected through the MyDolphinPlus app.

Use the controls on Liberty 300 and Liberty 400 to switch from Regular to Floor Only as follows.

Set the Cycle Selector

  1. Step 1: Turn on the robot Press the power button to turn the robot on.
  2. Step 2: Select Floor Only Wait for the battery level LED to light up. Then press and hold the power button for 3-4 seconds, until the battery LED flashes purple 3 times.

The robot is now set to Floor Only instead of Regular.

When the mode resets

Regular is the default mode on Liberty 300 and Liberty 400. Pressing the power button again or connecting the robot to its charger returns it to Regular mode, which cleans the floor, walls, and waterline.
