The answer
What to know.

After each cleaning cycle
- Step 1: Remove the robot and clean the filter Take your Dolphin Liberty out of the pool, then clean its filter.
- Step 2: Choose a protected spot Keep the robot out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat or cold.
- Step 3: Connect the charger Connect the robot to its charger so it is ready for the next cleaning.
Off-season storage
Follow these steps when your Liberty will be unused for an extended period.
- Step 1: Turn off and disconnect Check that the robot is turned off and disconnected from its charger.
- Step 2: Drain the robot Let all water drain out of the cleaner.
- Step 3: Clean and dry the filter basket Give the filter basket a thorough cleaning, then allow it to dry.
- Step 4: Charge to at least 50% Charge the battery until at least two battery indicator LEDs are fully lit, indicating at least 50% capacity.
- Step 5: Store in a sheltered location Choose a spot protected from sun, rain, and frost. The storage temperature must stay between 14°F and 95°F.
Sleep mode and returning to use
After 21 days or more without use, the robot automatically enters sleep mode. Connecting it to the charger wakes it up. Before the first cleaning after off-season storage, charge the robot.
