Without these Gen 2 filters, the Nautilus CC Pro cannot clean smaller particles, such as algae, sand, and other debris.
Why NanoFilters are essential →Without the more powerful, commercial-grade motors found on the ProLine™, the Nautilus CC Pro has less suction power than other robots.
Sellers of the Nautilus CC Pro charge up to a 20% Restocking Fee. You'll want to avoid these units and look for a robot with a 30 Day Free Trial
Dolphin Robots with 30-Day Risk-Free Trials →Sigma adds waterline cleaning, NanoFilters™, triple motors, gyroscope, 3 year warranty + 30 Day Free Trial.
Premier adds waterline cleaning, commercial grade motors, MultiMedia™, NanoFilters™, 3 year warranty + 30 Day Free Trial.

Works great.
The control unit overheats and we’re concerned it will be a problem at some point. The plastic panel with buttons bubbles up during use. They warn to keep it in the shade, which we have, but it still overheats.
Cleans well, this is my second unit. Don't get the control box wet and make sure to do the required maintenance on the unit, my last one burnt up at about the 3 year mark due to hair being wrapped around the gear.
I have only used this once so far. I initially put it into our above ground pool to open it up after winter. Overall it had a few leaves but a lot of slime in the pool. It immediately started cleaning up the walls and on the bottom but I noticed that a lot of the fine particles were coming back out of the vacuum. I had bought the extra fine filter to go with it so I pulled it back out and put in the extra fine filter and it did a good job of getting all the bottom of the pool clean. I am in the process of shocking and running the water the the filtration system to get all the top dirt in the water cleaned out. Then I will run the vacuum again after the top water is cleaned. The only thing I noticed that the vacuum did weird was it would be in the middle of the pool and would start lifting up like it was trying to climb a wall. I am assuming it is because we have some bumps from our foot prints in the bottom of the pool from when we originally set it up and it comes to one of the bumps and thinks it is a wall. After a couple of tries of it trying to climb the wall in the middle, it will go back down to the floor and start vacuuming again. Overall, so far, we are happy with this vacuum.
This robot does an ok job of cleaning our pool. It is not as good as our autobot storm was but for half the price we are pleased. It sometimes climbs to the waterline but not often. It cleans the pool floor well, and is very easy to clean up after use.
