The answer
What to know.
Choose the settings in the MyDolphinSkimmi App that match your pool conditions and cleaning needs.

For cloudy weather
Use shorter cleaning intervals with longer pauses between them. Reduce power use with these settings:
- Debris Washing: OFF
- Speed: Low
- Wheels Unblock: Auto
- Smart Solar Recharge: ON
- Start Delay: At least 1-2 hours
Keep dirt off the solar panel and empty the filter tray more frequently.
For lots of leaves and debris
- Smart Search: Leaves Search
- Water Clarity: Murky
If there is a lot of larger debris that could get caught in the skimmer paddlewheel, select Forced for Wheels Unblock. This provides stronger motor power. Switch back to Auto once the pool is clear of debris to save battery power.
For debris mostly around the pool perimeter
- Water Edge Cleaning: Intense, or Perimeter if you want to clean only the edges
- Distance to Edge: Very Close
- Debris Washing: ON
If you want Dolphin Skimmi to run as often as possible
- Auto Start: ON, so the skimmer starts working as soon as you insert the filter tray
- Speed: Auto
- Smart Solar Recharge: ON
For the most energy-efficient operation
- Smart Solar Recharge: ON, to recharge with solar energy as much as possible
- Speed: Low
- Water Edge Cleaning: Eco
To avoid your pool robot's cable
Select Avoid Hose and Cable in the app so Dolphin Skimmi can avoid this obstacle.
