How do I log in to the app using OTP?

OTP stands for one-time password. This email-code login is designed to make account access simpler and more secure.

If you can access the email linked to your Facebook or Google Play account, you can use that address for OTP login.

Before you start

Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed. OTP login requires the latest version.

1. Step 1Open the app

   On your smart device, open MyDolphinPlus for corded robots or Maytronics One for cordless robots.

2. Step 2Enter your email

   Enter your registered email address on the login screen. Allow up to 3 minutes for the code to arrive.

3. Step 3Check your inbox

   Find the email from Maytronics containing your OTP. The code stays valid for 5 minutes in MyDolphin Plus and 3 minutes in MaytronicsOne.

4. Step 4Enter the code

   Type the OTP into the app's code field.

If the app requests an OTP every time you open it

Delete the app and reinstall it. Then log in two more times. This can help resolve the repeated login prompts.

If you originally signed up with Apple ID, Facebook, or Google Play

Choose one of these options:

1. Log in using the email address associated with your original account.
2. Create an account with a new email address. You will need to pair the robot with the app again.

If your robot was paired only through Bluetooth

After logging in with the OTP, you still need to complete the robot-app pairing process.
