Can I use my Dolphin with an extension cord or surge protector?

What to know.
Do not use an extension cord or surge protector with your Dolphin. The robot is designed to use only electrical components originally made by Maytronics.
Always connect the power supply directly to an outlet protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
Using an extension cord can lead to overheating, voltage drops, and damage to both the cord and the robot. It can also create electrical hazards, especially if the cord is not properly grounded.
