Switch off and unplug the power supply.
Remove the robot from the pool and place it on a stable work surface.
Follow your model's replacement instructions to remove the worn guide wheels and pulley gears. Stop if access requires opening the robot housing.
Install the matching replacement pieces and refit any track components removed, following your model's instructions.
Check that the wheels and tracks move freely before using the robot again.

Follow the video and steps below to replace the side paddlewheel on your Dolphin Skimmi.
Step 1Remove the old paddlewheel
- Turn the robot over so it rests on the solar panel.
- Take the filter out of the robot.
- Turn the side paddlewheel until you find the screw, identified as Paddlewheel Screw M2.5 × 8 mm – DIN913 A2.
- Take out the screw with a 1.2 mm star screwdriver.
- Gently take the paddlewheel off the robot.
- Follow the same removal steps on the opposite side if needed.
Step 2Install the replacement paddlewheel
- Position the new paddlewheel so its holes line up.
- Dip the screws in Loctite 574 before inserting them. Then tighten them with the star screwdriver.
- Follow the same installation steps on the opposite side if needed.
- Put the filter tray back into the robot.

Find your model below for its track replacement video and written instructions. The steps vary by model.
M400/M500/Aquarius XL
Replacement track part number: 9985006-R2.
- Disconnect the power supply from the electrical outlet.
- Lower the handle, then turn the robot onto its back.
- Use a screwdriver to release the back brush from its sockets.
- Carefully lift out the brush, leaving the tracks in place.
- Pull the front brush out of its sockets by hand.
- Remove all four screws from one side panel, then take off the panel.
- Take off the rubber track.
- Remove all four screws from the opposite side panel, then take off that panel.
- Take off the rubber track on that side.
- Fit the replacement track and reinstall the side panel with its four screws. Repeat on the opposite side.
- Put both brushes back into their designated sockets.
- Return the robot to its upright position and straighten the handle.
S50 (S50, E10, E20, Active 10, Cayman, Escape, Encore)
