Support answer · Clarifiers & Conditioners
When should I use a clarifier?
Short answer: Use a clarifier for lingering cloudiness or fine particles after sanitizer and pH are balanced, or when heavy spa use overwhelms filtration.

The answer
What to know.
Start by making sure sanitizer levels are correct and water chemistry is balanced. Then consider a clarifier when:
- The water stays cloudy even after sanitizer and pH are balanced.
- Tiny particles leave the water looking dull.
- Heavy spa use temporarily keeps the filtration system from keeping up.
A clarifier helps remove particles that reduce water clarity, but it does not replace proper water maintenance. It cannot fix cloudiness caused by low sanitizer levels, unbalanced water chemistry, or old water.
